Hello, and welcome to Pompano Beauty Academy!
My name is Anniesha McDonald, and I am the proud Owner and Lead Instructor of Pompano Beauty Academy. Over the past decade, I have dedicated my career to helping others build successful futures in the beauty industry. Beauty has completely transformed my life, and now my passion is helping it transform yours.
My journey began with earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, followed by my MBA from Nova Southeastern University. After discovering my passion for skincare, I became a licensed Master Esthetician and later spent time teaching at one of Florida's largest beauty schools, where I had the privilege of educating more than 1,000 future beauty professionals.
Today, I am also the owner of Ann-LASH Beauty Bar, an award-winning esthetics practice with hundreds of five-star client reviews, where I continue to work with clients while staying current on the latest treatments, products, and industry trends. My experience allows me to teach not only the science behind esthetics but also the real-world skills needed to build a thriving career.
Beyond the treatment room and classroom, I am passionate about entrepreneurship. I have completed executive business programs, received grant funding for workforce development initiatives, and founded the Pompano Beauty Academy Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating educational opportunities for young adults pursuing careers in the beauty industry.
